The target age range is from 2 - 8. Animated children songs, books: interactive, static and print, merchandise, infographics & music are the main content delivery items. African centered learning materials on the web are in short supply, and those materials that are available are not centralized. While it is unrealistic to centralize all African learning content on the web. It is important to start. Tuma Tunes through Hums aims to provide a central hub for African content.Inspiring our children to be proud of us and thus themselves is an important step in reinforcing our culture. African pride provides a great boost in our perspective of ourselves as children and adults. This pride elevates the productivity and well-being of the whole group. A strong family structure is an essential metric in the optimal upbringing of children. Family values are at the forefront of Tuma Tunes, and these values are woven into the songs, animations, illustration and books that are created for the show.Empowering learning is the core of Tuma. If this need did not exist then Tuma would likely not exist. It is to that aim that creating African educational content is at heart of Tuma Tunes.
